Marnie Pérez Molière (Santurce, 1970)


She got a bachelor's degree in printmaking and art education from the School of Fine Arts and Design of Puerto Rico and a master's degree in graphic design Academia San Carlos, UNAM, Mexico. She studied at the Polytechnic University of Valencia and the Pilar y Joan Miró Foundation, in Spain. In 2004 she was part of the Public Art project for Tren Urbano. Map patterns are common elements in her work. Her fascination for urban movement provokes a reflection on the passing of time, the transformation of inhabited spaces, the preservation of memories and the perspectives of human thought.
