Wood carving by José Orta, member of one of the most recognized families of carvers in Puerto Rico.

The Mano Poderosa is representative of religious syncretism in Puerto Rico. At the tips of the fingers appear the Virgin Mary, Saint Joseph and Jesus as a child, and his grandparents, Saint Ana and Saint Joaquin.
